The Subtle One

~Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD GOD had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Since the beginning of time, the devil has been trying to make the word of God unbelievable. His subtle questions in the Garden of Eden were worded in such a way to cause Eve to question what God had said. He is still doing it today, teen girl!

Today’s teenager must take a stand. You have the Bible at our fingertips and you have no excuse for not knowing what God has written. It is only by knowing the Scriptures that you will be able to recognize the devil’s subtleties. Knowing is half the battle, as they say.

~2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

So, to be able to recognize the devil’s ways, you must:

    1. Read the Word
    2. Apply the Word
    3. Live the Word

It is one thing to read your Bible, but you must also allow the Holy Spirit to do a work in your heart when He is trying to teach you something.  Once you have been taught by Him, you can be a testimony to your lost friends. You have the ability to witness to teen girls where no one else can. God has chosen you and placed those friends in your circle of influence. 🙂
